Hello there! A new Impact version has been released with some minor improvements and bugs fixes.

IMPROVEMENTS 

The process for recreating submitted calls from Pitcher Calendar without contacts has been improved. The flow has been changed to no longer seek contacts and to allow the user to choose in the future.

SDK Support 

Config parameters

moveUnplannedToStart: Allows you to move an Unplanned action from its current location to a new location, as shown in the screenshot. Setting by default off.

New Native SDK Event have been added to assist partners and developers in meeting new customer requirements.

A new event has been implemented to support autosubmit calls without launching postcall form after Stop action.

BUG FIXES 

• SFDC Submitted Events deleted in SFDC by Admin/User are now deleted in iCal too to ensure SFDC Calendar and iCal Calendar are aligned.
• Schedule next interaction inside postcall form is now reading config parameter of default duration.
• PDF Library has been upgraded to the last version to fix some animation issues.

IMPROVEMENTS 

Submit a saved call from Pitcher Calendar

In addition to the current capabilities from Start Call or iCal, it is now possible to submit a saved call from Pitcher calendar. This allows our users to jump directly to PostCall and complete pending calls.

In order to have that functionality, please ensure the "Submit for later" option is activated inside your organization.

we have released a new Pitcher version to fix delta synchronization issues. This new version ensure that customers with large number of Account / Contact records inside territories capture all new additions to the related list records.

Now is not needed to wait that account is updated to receive the updates from any related list.

Over the last few months we have been working in an solution to help our users to access to a comprehensive overview of their customers that can help them to prepare them to plan their weeks and to execute their calls. 

We have named this solution Pitcher Timeline for Pitcher Impact and it is now available for Early Adopters.

With Pitcher Timeline you have all the relevant information from a Customer at a glance, removing the need of navigating across multiple screens not very user friendly Salesforce list format. 

Pitcher Timeline is available at both Business Accounts and Persons level, enabling users to access the information at the right level. 

SECTIONS 

Information is distributed on a single interactive page divided in different sections:

Account information: key attributes from Business Account or Person level are highlighted.

Content shared: an overview of all content already shared with the Customer.

Please note Pitcher Timeline is mapped to Pitcher standard fields. As per your setup, a change in the mapping on the fields and objects may be required.

Hello there! We are excited to share with you the latest improvements for Pitcher Impact iOS. 

iMPROVEMENTS 

Users can now specify which is the starting day of the week for them via Pitcher Impact application settings, which will drive how the calendar is displayed in Pitcher Impact. 

Content tagged as "Internal Only" is now visible if the call is a training call. Previously it was hidden in all cases.

Notification of "not enough storage capacity" when trying to download new content, instead of closing the application without a warning, which was the current behavior.

Automatic restart of Instance if there is a new Language package, removing the notification pop-up highlighted below requesting the user to restart manually.

Pitcher activities visibility issue for Person accounts has been resolved. This issue was causing that activities were not visible on the Person account-related lists.

NEW We’re pleased to announce that the following features and fixes are now available in the WindowsStore for our Windows Old Generation users.

This version introduces an important change in how Route Optimization works due to Google API change on the Windows platform not using UWP technology.

Users using the new Impact Windows UWP are not affected by that change.

The following workaround has been implemented to allow users to keep using Route Optimization while doing that activity in the default browser rather than inside the application.

Users cannot use the route optimization feature if they are not updated to the last version.

• Send Synch Activity Tracking and Synch Errors to CRM is now supported in the Windows version too. For more information, please review the following link.

A new event has been implemented to support changing Accounts inside a planned call in the post-call form. Using this feature makes it possible to modify the account if it is modified during the interaction rather than starting a new one.

Hi there! After enabling Auth0 login to Pitcher Admin, we are now bringing it to Reporting. A nicer, safer UI experience, which will be activated tomorrow, for the login to Reporting Website. 

Please note that, besides the login itself, the Reporting capabilities will stay as they were. This change is just affecting login experience. 

The new version of our Impact app is released in Google Play Store! It includes some security updates and a bug fix.

BUG FIX

- The issue at mission console initialization is addressed and it doesn't generate an error any longer.

NEW 

Search Engine Improvements

Now our Impact iOS users can use the new improved search engine ,as was implemented in Pitcher Impact Windows 1.47.0.732,  to help find the right customers inside Pitcher. The following search capabilities have been introduced:

• Search case insensitive for non-latin alphabet characters like Turkish. For Example: Search for by “orcun” to identify “Orçun"
• Search case insensitive for Diacritic characters. For Example: Search for by “ole” to identify “Öle”.
• Support wild card search without user input. For Example: Search for by “rob will” to identify “Robert Williams"
• Support search for non-ordered strings. For Example: Search “Williams  Robert” to identify  “Robert Williams”

These new enhancements have been introduced across all Pitcher Super App allowing the users to do the improved search anywhere like Detailed Planning, Quick Planning, Home UI, Interactives which by default are off.

In order to enable that feature, users need to go to Pitcher settings and turn on the new configuration as shown in the image below.

Advanced Search configuration

In addition to the features above, a new Advanced Search configuration can be enabled inside your instance to define a CRM field that extends the search to additional fields like address, type, title, function, segmentation or any other field available inside your Account or Contact CRM fields.

SDKSUPPORT 

New Native SDK Events have been added to assist partners and developers in meeting new customer requirements.

• Ti.App.fireEvent('addsfEvent'): This event directly creates a planned call with the given parameters from an interactive.

Config parameters

• callUniqueFieldIOS: new parameter has been introduced in order to support dual synchronizations between different platforms such as iOS/Windows/Android for our multi-device customers.
• syncSubmittedCalls: new parameter introduced to sync submitted calls in iCal calendar to support our multi-device customers.

BUG FIXES 

• Salesforce queries fails if the query contains an ampersand (&). Now the following conditions are supported:

WHERE Status = 'Discovery & Validation'

• Creating a call from task form with choose later option was not possible, now this issue has been fixed.
• Other minor bug fixes.
