NEW We’re pleased to announce that the following features and enhancements are now available with the new Sample version 2.1.

Value Sample limits

New type value sample limits has been added in addition of existing quantity limit. This new type allow customers to setup limit based on value to not exceep certain amount of value.

That limit is applied to only Promotional Material products and will be added to Samples in future versions.

Product Group Limits

New version allow to create product groups with multiple products and enable to define a group-level quantity or value limit to ensure samples and materials requested or dropped satisfy compliance regulations.

Scan Bar & QR codes

Now is possible to scan code inside samples drop in order to provide to administrator exact serial number that has been dropped to a customer. 

The new feature enable to scan code based on number of quantities included in each product and send this information to sfdc inside Serial Number field from Inventory Transaction Item object.

Save as Draft

Users can now create samples and materials in advance of interactions with customers so that they can save them before and finishing them during in-person meetings.

Our enhanced download functionality now provides greater control and efficiency for all your downloading needs has been added to Windows too.

When prompted to download files, you'll notice a new and clever option called "Only Mandatory", which replaces the previous "Later" choice. This innovation saves you time by letting you download only the essential files for your tasks, ensuring you always have the most updated content on your device. Selecting "Only Mandatory" enables your instance to launch without any delays while only downloading crucial files.

But don't worry, you can still choose the regular "Download" option if you prefer. This retains the same set of choices as before – allowing you to download files based on size, their last update, or skipping them entirely for later.

To enable this fantastic feature, use the following settings:

• downloadMandatoryOnly: Instance setting that enables the downloading of only mandatory files.
• downloadMandatory: Metadata file keyword indicating a file is mandatory.

Enhanced File Hiding Capabilities:

Introducing an upgrade to give you even more control over file visibility! You can now choose to make individual files hidden, ensuring a cleaner and more focused user interface (UI).

With the "hiddenFile" keyword, you can mark files as hidden and keep them from appearing in UI components like Share Docs, Briefcase, and search results. These hidden gems will only be accessible through designated hotspots, ensuring a secure way to reach them when needed.

This enhancement allows you to safeguard sensitive files while maintaining a clutter-free UI, drawing attention only to the files you want to showcase. 

SDK SUPPORT 

New Native SDK Events have been added to assist partners and developers in meeting new customer requirements.

• Ti.App.fireEvent('markAllAsRead'): We have introduced a new function called 'markAllAsRead' within our SDK. This function allows you to mark all newly downloaded documents as read. This is particularly useful when reinstalling the app or switching devices. The UI can accurately determine whether the files should display a new badge indicator by marking all documents as read. This ensures a seamless experience when transitioning between devices.

Config parameters:

• skipEventsOverflowingPopup: Introduced a new parameter that allows to skip the scheduling conflict pop-up, providing a seamless user experience by removing the alert when events exceed the working hours.

• Enhanced user experience by implementing a loading spinner within the custom deck for files with multiple slides, ensuring smoother presentation on the screen.
• Resolved an issue where account were not visible on the map when "Sync map" was enabled and a non-English language was selected in the settings, ensuring consistent functionality and user experience across different language options.
• Optimized some Portuguese translations.

For that version, the annual security review has been approved in accordance with Salesforce standards for security and code practices.

Bug fixes

• To ensure that all new fields are accessible inside our permission sets, permission sets have been modified to include pending fields.
• To guarantee that all accounts are included for customers who have call calculation feature activated, a fix has been made inside the Account Call apex process.
• We have addressed an issue that prevented the retrieval of records during delta synchronization when dealing with person accounts instead of contacts.

Hello there! This is Cristian, from Pitcher Product Team. I would love to introduce to you to our first version of Pitcher Congress. 

Pitcher Congress is an event management solution, based on Salesforce, that allows field users to plan meetings that involve planned and actual expenses (based on types previously defined by backoffice), invitees and speakers. 

It also allows Managers, Compliance department and other stakeholders to be involved, if it is required, to provide their approval and to unlock field users to execute their meetings. Approval processes in Pitcher Congress are based on Salesforce Approval Processes and are setup on Salesforce side, providing all the necessary flexibility in both numbers of steps and logic.

Pitcher Congress can be used by field reps on the field on Pitcher Impact, or on Salesforce online. Approvers like Managers do need to connect to Salesforce to provide their approvals.

During the Congress celebration, informal calls can happen between the field force and the customers on the meeting. They can be captured, even if the person the field force is talking to is not part of their territory, filling in a formulary.

Enable Screen Auto-Lock:

We have added a new setting option called "Enable Screen Auto-Lock." inside Pitcher settings. When this option is enabled, Pitcher will disregard instance-specific auto-lock configurations and always enable screen auto-lock. Please note that the auto-lock timeout can be adjusted in the device's settings under Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock.

This parameter allows you to specify whether the initial queries should automatically include the account and contact delete criteria (accountDeleteCriteria/contactDeleteCriteria). This simplifies the deletion process by automating the application of deletion criteria.

• Pin Colors Updating in Quick Planning: We've squashed a bug that previously prevented pin colors from updating after selecting accounts in Quick Planning. Now, the pin colors will accurately represent selected accounts for a more visually appealing and intuitive experience.
• Starting a Call from the Customers Tab: No more hassles! We've fixed the bug that stopped users from initiating calls directly from the Customers tab.

Exiting functionality introduced with the allowMultipleAccounts parameter has been extended to cover seamless navigation applied to both scenarios: accessing the contacts list via the "All Contacts" option and navigating through the "Cities/Accounts" tab.

This enhancement allows for a smoother and uninterrupted experience when managing contacts across various accounts, optimizing your workflow and saving you valuable time.

BUG FIXES 

• Fixed the PostCall Form to prevent the submission of calls without completing mandatory fields introduced with the new WebView component.

Start Time selector in Quick Planning

Now is possible to specify the start time for your meetings by setting the Start Time in the trip planner. With this update, you can set a specific start time for your trip, and all the calls scheduled within that trip will be automatically scheduled after the designated start time.

This feature provides greater control and flexibility in your scheduling, allowing you to plan your meetings more effectively and efficiently. With the ability to set a start time for your trips, you can ensure that all your meetings are scheduled at the right time and in the right order.

Instance parameter

• sfdcSkipDefaultPrefixes: A new parameter has been introduced to enable skipping of synchronization of SFDC objects defined in that parameter. This parameter applies to related entities from Contacts or Accounts.
