Pitcher Impact Android 3.37.2 Released!

We're thrilled to announce a new version of Pitcher Impact Android with parity improvements and bug fixes to enhance your experience. 

What's New:

Manage Device Content

Take control of your device content with the ability to download or remove non-mandatory content as you need. A new Preview tab lets you view all available content before deciding what to download.


Enhanced SFDC Data Synchronization

We’ve improved the Salesforce Data Synchronization process by introducing the ability to use the {LastModifiedDate} parameter within Salesforce Admin Configurator subqueries. This enhancement allows you to capture only delta information (i.e., recently modified data meeting specific conditions) without needing to pull data from the main object. This update significantly improves data accuracy and relevance during sync processes.

Reset Database parameter

A new parameter has been introduced to force a database restart during deployments. This ensures data consistency and system stability, reducing the risk of errors and ensuring a smooth transition during updates or system changes.

Legend Map Functionality:

A new legend has been added to the map, providing a clear description of each pin color. This ensures you can easily interpret the meaning of each pin and navigate with confidence.


Always Show Device Identification Window: 

When disabled, users with only one assigned instance will now skip the home page and directly open their instance, streamlining the workflow.

Indicators for Shared Canvases

We've added indicators for Shared Canvases to provide better visibility into Canvas engagement.



  • Share Indicator: When a Canvas link is generated and shared, an indicator is displayed with the date, signaling the Canvas' shared status.
  • Access Indicator: Each time a unique user (e.g., customer) accesses a shared canvas, an indicator is updated. Users can now see the total number of unique visitors for each canvas, and on mouse hover, view the total visit count.



Improved Section selection and Drag and Drop

We’ve introduced multiple enhancements for managing Sections in Canvases, allowing for flexible, efficient organization.

  • Multi-Select and Drag-and-Drop: Users can select multiple sections and drag them into the canvas in the order they were selected.
  • Add to Top or Bottom: Users have the option to add selected sections directly to the top or bottom of the canvas list using dedicated buttons.
  • Positioning Flexibility: Sections can be placed above, between, or below existing Sections, allowing for more precise organization.
  • Easy Removal: An “X” icon appears next to each added Sections, making it easy to remove. Users can also select a Section and click the "Remove" button.



Link Files to your Text with the Link Component 

The Link component in the Text Component now supports linking directly to files within the platform, offering users a streamlined way to reference specific documents.

  • File Selection for Links: Users can now browse and select files directly from within the Link component.
  • Integrated Text Component Linking: Easily embed file links within text, providing direct access to relevant content.



Provide Content Feedback via the File Details

Reps now have the ability to access file details directly when viewing a file, along with an option to provide feedback and rate content for their content administrators.


  • File Details Access: Reps can view detailed information about the file they’re accessing, including metadata and sharing settings.


  • Feedback & Rating: Reps can submit feedback and rate content to communicate its usefulness or suggest improvements to content admins.



Slide-Level Tagging and Metadata for Files

Admins can now add tags and metadata to individual slides or pages within a file for improved analytics and tracking. When viewing a file's thumbnails in the overview column, admins can click the cog icon on each slide to access page-specific settings.

  • Slide-Level Tags and Metadata: Assign tags and metadata to specific slides or pages to enhance content tracking and analytics.


  • Easy Access to Page Settings: Click the cog icon on each thumbnail in the overview column to open edit settings for each slide or page.

What's New:


Advanced Calendar Functionality for Android

The Advanced Calendar functionality, previously available only on iOS, is now also available on Android. Users can enjoy a consistent experience across both platforms, with the same features and capabilities on Android as on iOS.

Bookmarks:

  • Introduced a new feature in bookmarks allowing users to rename bookmarks, offering an alternative to the default content name or slide title.

  • Added the ability to reorder bookmarks, providing representatives with improved organization and workflow efficiency with just drag and drop option.
  • Added the possibility to bookmark custom decks as well of existing centralised content.


Parity Functions for Android

We’ve added parity functions on Android to match those already available on iOS and Windows. These functions include autoAddKeepCriteria and autoAddDeleteCriteria, allowing for a more consistent cross-platform experience.

Enhanced Search for Turkish Language Cases

We’ve made enhancements to support certain Turkish language cases in search functionality, particularly within Planning and Quick Planning. This improvement ensures more accurate and user-friendly results for Turkish language users.

SharePoint Integration for CatalogIQ

We’ve introduced a SharePoint integration app for seamless content syncing

  • Admin Configuration: Admins can now install and configure the SharePoint integration app directly within CatalogIQ, specifying syncing parameters and options.
  • Content Sync: Files and folders from SharePoint can be synced to CatalogIQ, making them accessible to admins for streamlined management and use in the platform.

This integration enhances content accessibility, centralizes management, and reduces the need to switch between platforms by syncing SharePoint resources directly into CatalogIQ.



Enhanced Pitcher Intelligent Agent (PIA) for Meeting Agendas and Custom Prompts

We've expanded PIA's capabilities within the text component

  • Meeting Agenda Generation: With PIA, users can now automatically generate tailored meeting agendas based on meeting and account context.

  • Custom Prompt Flexibility: Users can write custom prompts, allowing PIA to integrate relevant content links directly within the agenda or any generated text.

This update streamlines meeting preparation, enabling users to create focused agendas quickly, while leveraging context-aware prompts that can dynamically adapt to each meeting’s needs.



Bulk Update for Metadata and Properties

Admins can now bulk update metadata and properties for files across the platform.

  • Bulk Editing Capability: Admins can now select multiple files and update their metadata and properties simultaneously, streamlining the management process.
  • Flexible Adjustments: Changes can be made to various file properties and metadata, ensuring that all selected files are updated consistently.

This feature significantly reduces the time and effort required for file management, allowing admins to maintain accurate and organized records effortlessly.



Default Metadata Values for Content Uploads

We've added support for default metadata values when uploading new content.

  • Pre-Defined Metadata: Admins can set default values for each metadata field in instance settings, ensuring consistent tagging and easier content organization across the platform.
  • Streamlined Upload Process: New uploads will automatically include these default metadata values, reducing setup time and ensuring uniformity.

This enhancement simplifies content management, speeds up the upload process, and ensures that essential metadata is consistently applied for efficient content retrieval and categorization.



Metadata Filters and Enhanced Search in File Browser

  • Metadata Filters: Users can now apply metadata filters within the File Browser, allowing for refined, criteria-based searches across files.
  • Search Enhancement: The search functionality now spans across all folders, providing a flat list of results.

These updates make locating specific files more efficient, helping users save time and easily navigate to related content within the platform.



Enhanced Folder Navigation and Access

  • Folder Details: Users can now access detailed information for any folder within the Content Browser, simplifying content organization and management.
  • Folder Link in File Details: In the file details view, a folder link has been added, allowing users to jump directly to a file’s parent folder with one click.

These enhancements make it faster to navigate through the content structure, improving workflow efficiency and reducing time spent locating related files and folders.



Enhanced Component Toolbar in Canvas Builder

We have improved the selected component toolbar within the Canvas Builder to enhance responsiveness and user experience.

  • Context-Sensitive Actions: The toolbar now displays different buttons depending on the type of component selected, ensuring users have access to relevant actions at their fingertips.
  • Access to Settings: Quickly navigate to the settings of the selected component for easy modifications.
  • Manage Theme: Users can effortlessly manage the theme settings of their components directly from the toolbar.
  • Duplicate Components: A new option allows users to duplicate components instantly, streamlining the editing process.
  • Collapse or Delete Options: Users can collapse components for a more organized workspace or delete components they no longer need with just one click.

These enhancements provide a more intuitive interface, reducing the time and effort required to manage components within the Canvas Builder.

Key Updates

Bookmark Management Enhancements
You can now rename and reorder bookmarks within the content, providing greater flexibility in how you organize and access key information.

Keep Call Unexecuted confirmation Alert
To prevent unintended actions, we’ve added a confirmation alert for action keep call unexcuted inside postcall formulary, allowing you to verify if you wish to proceed or retain the executed call, adding an extra layer of security to your processes.


Enhanced SFDC Data Synchronisation
We've introduced the ability to use the {LastModifiedDate} parameter inside salesforce admin configurator subqueries. This ensures that only delta information (i.e., recently modified data that meets the condition) is captured, without pulling in data from the main object. This improvement enhances data accuracy and relevance in sync processes. Ex:   select Id, Name from Account where id in (select account__c from object__c where status__c = 'Active' and lastmodifiedDate >= {LastModifiedDate}


Content Download Control
A new parameter has been added that allows you to disable content downloads when the instance is open. This helps to safeguard your data and reduce unnecessary data usage when working within the instance.
